UK Tai Chi offers excellent provision for people wanting to learn Tai Chi and its related exercises. However, alongside these general courses we also provide fully comprehensive instruction for students wishing to become Chi for Children teachers themselves.
Our Train the Trainer programme is second to none, offering a course that encompasses not only the practical elements of Tai Chi, but also its history and physical benefits. We ensure that our new trainers have all the information and skills they need to offer a well-rounded course to the students they go on to teach.

TAI & THE CHI MACHINE
‘Tai and the Chi Machine’ is an exciting interactive DVD that has been produced to work alongside the UK Tai Chi ‘Chi for Children’ course.
It features all the elements of the programme developed by UK Tai Chi for younger participants, presented by two friendly characters, Tai and Chi, alongside primary school students from North Yorkshire.
The moves are easy and fun to follow, with audio descriptions from Chi and actions from Tai and the children. Exciting graphics and funky music round off this very colourful presentation that will engage children of up to 11 years old.
‘Tai and the Chi Machine’ lasts for 15 minutes and is an ideal way to start the day. Research has shown that children who participate in Tai Chi at some level show increased concentration and improved focus and behaviour. It is also physically beneficial and good for balance and flexibility.

UK Tai Chi is always happy to discuss the needs of the corporate sector and how an in-house course can benefit employees in what can often be a high pressure, stressful environment.
Our main provision in this sector is Stress Management but we have also been involved in Personal Safety Training, day-to-day wellbeing through Chinese Medicine, Tai Chi for none able bodied practitioners (particularly those confined to wheelchairs) and general Tai Chi classes as part of the working day.
